About the Role

- Supervise the daily activities of the accounting department;

- Make all other departments aware of the financial requirements that are an integral part of their functions;

- Act as a replacement for the payroll manager for payroll preparation;

- Establish systems to ensure optimal control in the various operations of the company;

- Perform all tasks related to the preparation of monthly financial statements (journal entries, importing data into the computer system, first analysis of results and finally the production of final financial statements);

- Control and prepare daily revenue and productivity reports and follow up with operational departments;

- Monitor operations at the bank level and prepare cash analyzes as needed;

- Close the financial year with all the restrictions and requirements associated with the year-end process;

- Coordinate the various audits affecting the accounting department (internal and external);

- Ensure compliance with various deadlines;

- Verify and approve reconciliations of balance sheet accounts;

- Verify and approve invoices, tax remittances and government deductions;

- Perform the required tasks during the absence of the Director of Finance and Business Support and respond to requests when they are not available or present;

- Perform all other related tasks, including supporting the general cashier in their tasks and being available to replace them if necessary.
